The Conference

For over 5 years, we have gathered, shmoozed, and rocked.
We have laughed, created art, and, ultimately, created a community.
In the coming year, we are doing all that -- and more!

With a new time, new venue, new format.

Limmud CO 2012 was a whole new adventure.

New beautiful venue   This past year, Limmud Colorado was held at a beautiful new location, the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center, which provided convenience, beauty, and a luxurious setting to learn and connect.

Largest conference ever: With more than 350 people in attendance, LimmudCO 2012 was our largest conference ever. More people, more ideas, more connections, and an energy that will fuel the months to come!

Inspiring program for participants of all ages: Limmud CO 2012 offered a diverse array of sessions from morning to well-past dusk! More than 350 participants discovered art, history, ritual, text, drama, food, personal wellness, meditation, Israel, parenting, and so much more.

  • For Adults: LimmudCO's breakout learning sessions allowed participants to delve into many aspects of Jewish thought and life.
  • For Teens: New this year!  A full-fledged teen track, with programs designed by and for teens. Check out the program schedule for details.
  • For Jewish Educators: An expanded array of sessions designed just for educators were attended by record-breaking numbers of teachers and educators.
  • For Children and Families: Included in registration were activities that promise your child will be as engaged as you are:
    • Limmud K’tan: For infants and children aged 0-3, we had babysitting, play, and Jewish activities with child-care professionals and teen assistants.
    • Camp Limmud: For children ages 4 through 12, Camp Limmud included age-appropriate Limmud activities with a professional educator and trained teen madrichim (counselors).

A Special Note about Shabbat!

This year, we were excited to announce multiple activities over Shabbat (January 20-21) throughout the Front Range leading up to the Conference start on Saturday evening. Special Shabbat programming was held at Congregation Rodef Shalom, Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, Congregation B'nai Havurah, and Hebrew Educational Alliance.

Kids in the Art Stuide

We are participating in MazelTot, a Rose Community Foundation grant initiative to connect young families to Jewish life and to each other. Twenty-nine Denver/Boulder Jewish agencies and synagogues are receiving grants to offer discounts on programs for expectant parents and families with children under age five. The website mazeltot.org showcases these organizations’ programs and highlights family events on a central calendar. For more information on how you can take advantage of MazelTot discounts, click here.
